Red lips anytime of the day

IMG_0722 I go through phases when it comes to wearing a red lip. But when I do, there are 4 red lip colours really covering the full spectrum; bright, bold, deep and berry. 1. MAC Cosmetics in Diva – A MAC purchase after almost 10 years (say whhaaaa??) A deep berry red that is perfect for  fall. I know, I know, fall in Singapore? I may not get to wear warm comfy clothes, but doesn’t mean my lips can’t say fall ;) Do prep your lips before applying as it can be slightly drying. 2. Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Beso – A true true red that is bold. This colour can totally be worn during the day. I must say this lipstick has some serious staying power. Chowed down on some noodles and spring rolls and it didn’t budge! It’s not too drying on the lips and you just need 2 coats! 3. Revlon ColorStay Matte Balm in Standout – What a beaut of a product. I love the tingling sensation it gives. Unfortunately it doesn’t last all day, but it is easy to reapply and is not drying on the lips at all. I would suggest using a lip pencil prior to applying as the formula is very creamy and you’d want to avoid any bleeding. 4. HourGlass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Icon – A deep blue-ish red that I find perfect for night. As much as I love the colour, I don’t particularly like the formula. I need several coats on my lips and I do find it drying. I would definitely recommend prepping your lips with a good lip balm before applying this one. Not a formula that can be worn for 8 hours. I am content with my little collection of red lip shades. Are there any other you would recommend? Love, Bri
